Soapster Malaysia specialized in Natural, plant-based and eco-friendly handcrafted bath & body product based in Malaysia. The deep interest of two sisters, Nur Hafizah Beserdin & Nur Amirah Beserdin to make & invent bath & body products for their own usage have triggered an amazing idea to start Soapster Malaysia. The main objective then was to create a power-packed bar of soap using everyday natural ingredients found in the kitchen which we always used as home remedy for skin. We started with natural glycerin bar soap and very soon the business expanded into natural cold process bar soap, natural liquid Castile soap, lip balms, body lotion, herbal mask, body scrubs, event doorgifts, customized gift set boxes and the list goes on. We are unstoppable!

Soapster Malaysia is homegrown and among the earliest inventors of Natural, Plant-based & eco-friendly handcrafted bath & body care product. We passionately formulate and design safe, fun, innovative and harmful-chemical-free bath & body products. We are determined not only to protect ourselves from harsh chemicals but also the Mother Nature by making eco-friendly & biodegradable products. We strives to raise awareness on the goodness of natural everyday ingredients and its healing power rather than chemical-loaded commercial products. As the name goes, Soapster as in "Hipster Soap Maker" we add a lot of bath time fun ideas in inventing our products! We are certain you will spot Soapster's products just by looking at their funky names. Hint: Movie Titles & Rhymes!
Our philosophy is quite simple. Back to Basic, Be Innovative & creative, add a lot of fun along the way, protect ourselves and not to forget our Earth in designing awesome bath & body care products.
The popularity of natural handcrafted soap in Malaysia is not as huge as in the US and UK. Challenges faced includes convincing potential customer on the amazing benefits of using natural plant-based bath & body care product in comparison to using commercialized soaps where a lot of chemical, surfactants, foaming agents are included in it. Besides that, natural handcrafted soap is somewhat expensive compared to commercial product making it a challenge to break into the market and convince users to invest in natural product. But remember, our biggest organ is the SKIN, so we might want to re-think our bath & body care product soon as they are all being absorbed by our body, on daily basis!
We love to see as nowadays, a lot of homegrown artisan bath product makers blooming all around Malaysia. We are inspired by them and we hope to inspire others too!
